Most of the time I just get books from the library, but occasionally it's nice to have a copy to keep. If I'm going to keep a book around I like to get the hardcover copy, so that it will last. I have also noted any book that I already own by crossing them off the list

One new addition to this list is audible.com. This site provides an audioboo subscription. I do a lot of audiobook reading now, but this site makes it even easier.
