A few weeks ago we went on a trip. I wasn't sure how it would go since I had never been on an airplane before, but I checked out the cockpit and everything them seemed in order. After take off all passengers kept commenting on how cute I was, which was really rather boring after a while, so I slept the rest of the trip.
Once we arrived in Hawaii I spent a lot of time with Mom and Grandma, just walking around enjoying the outdoors. We even went to the Hawaiian Cultural Center where the Hula dancers put on a show, just for me. I really liked it, a lot!

Dad arrived a few days later and then the fun really began. Not only did I have Mom, Dad and Grandma at my beck and call, but we did a whole bunch of things I had never done before.
First we went swimming in the hotel pool. It was little cold in the water, but still tons of fun. Floating on my back has got to be my favorite.

Then the very next day, we drove up to the north shore where Tammy, Scott and Hadley were staying. We got to spend the night in their bungalow on the beach and the next day we saw the surfers try to ride the really big waves. We thought it looked like so much fun that we decided to try it out for our selves when we got back to our hotel.
The other really interesting thing that I got to do in Hawaii was play in the sand. Talk about awesome! I got to sit in it, grab it, dig in it, I even tried to eat some of it (I don't recommend eating it, because it will make you cry). Next time we go, I'm definitely going to spend more time playing in the sand!

After that it was time to go home. I really didn't want to because it was so nice to be outside all the time and it's really just too cold at home to do that at this time of year. But I guess that's okay because Mom said that we will be sure to come back again soon.
Until my next exciting voyage,
Ian
